Dipnall Dipnell Dupenhalle et al

Dipnalls on St Croix British Virgin Islands

Thanks to Svend E Holsoe for this set of records we have found reference previously to a merchant trading in St Croix by the name of Thomas DIPNALL in a PDF of the papers concerning Alexander HAMILTON, these records confirm this was a family unit. Our lines of enquiry currently suggest that the presence on ST croix, may AND only MAY be connected with the travelling and commodity broking occupations evidenced in other records.

Another pointer from this record is the mix of spelling of the names within the same family spelt both DIPNAL and DIPNALL.

We aim to transcribe this smallt ree and share publically on ancestry so that anyone can see if they have a connection into the wider picture.
